I love these new sets. Liz my sister has taken better pics-but I am using these for now! I have had a great time putting sets together because I have had several requests for gift baskets etc recently so here we go :) Its a job to find enough hours in the day though at the moment!

Little celebration cakes in boxes

These are little fancy cake with piping and tiny little roses, they smell of vanilla cream and each one comes in its own little box tied with ribbon with a matching tag. I love these, they are so cute and I am going to make them in a few different 'flavours'. I am going to do chocolate, fairy cake, vanilla, and sweet cream for starters. Still on the topic of yummy (and calorie free) cakes my sister is making delicious cake slices and cupcakes using her own original recipes and they are so nice that I will be posting pics on here as soon as I get them!

Gift Boxes and Bows

I have been trying out different ways of decorating my gift boxed soaps with ribbon. Chiffon is my favourite choice as it is so pretty and makes me think of exciting things like bridesmaids dresses . I made up a recent order destined for the United States using two colours of chiffon, in colours complimentary to the soaps inside the boxes. There were two combinations, Rose and Gold, and Duck Egg and Copper. I only managed a photo of the Duck Egg gift box -then my camera ran out of battery. I didnt have time to check with anyone as to how they looked as they had to go straight into their wrapping and off to the post office, so I just hope their new owner approves once they arrive! I thought they looked cute, but then I am all fingers and thumbs with gift boxes. I need some lessons from my friend Corrie at Lomond Soap - she is the packaging queen for sure!

New Gift Boxes

I an excited about my new gift boxes for my decorative soaps, I have finally found some boxes that are the right size for my single soaps, and I have been searching awhile. I am delighted because the company seem very professional and pleasant, something which is really important to me when searching for supplies. I am really looking forward to offering gift boxed soaps.

I am starting to think about putting together gift sets at the moment, ready for Christmas etc., i have a few gift boxes , and i am trying out a few ideas. I will post pictures when blogger lets me..
